A Glimpse into an Extraordinary Evening
Attending The A-List Events in February 2024 was more than just a professional engagement for me—it was an immersive experience that transcended expectations. Hosted by Forest & Co and In Capital Productions, this prestigious gathering of industry leaders, innovators, and creative minds left an indelible mark on my memory.
Greetings to our valued clients and partners!
We are thrilled to announce a significant milestone in our journey at DGB Romanian Translation! With immense gratitude and enthusiasm, we are delighted to share the news that we have recently surpassed the mark of 350 satisfied customers, benefiting from our specialised expertise in translating Romanian to English and English to Romanian. If our growth will continue, by the end of the calendar year we will celebrate a 270% growth year over year!
In September we celebrated customer #300. This is a fantastic milestone only 2 years after our launch in the U.K. With an experience of +16 years in translation and localisation, I’ve launched the business in the U.K, with the dream to become one of the most reliable Romanian translation services providers both locally and internationally.
I had the great pleasure to be invited by the team at CamCam Studios London to a podcast. It’s now subtitled in English. Let me know what you think. I hope you like it!
It's my mission to ensure that together with my team we deliver the highest calibre Romanian translation services to any company or individual we work with. My personal goal is that our translation contributes to your success. That every assignment, no matter how big or small, is topped up with the best advice you need to succeed.
Last Thursday I had the amazing chance to participate to an event hosted by the Romanian Embassy in London. This event was dedicated to business opportunities between Romania and the UK. More specifically, 8 well established businesses in the County of Dolj, Romania came to London to talk about their story and their plans to expand on the UK market.
Exactly 2 years ago, we launched DGB Romanian Translation Services, a small talented Romanian translation agency, based in Reading, England. With a previous 14 years’ experience in Romania, Daniela has just moved to the UK the previous year, and quickly decided to continue sharing her love for languages and people.
Today we are celebrating 220 customers, with an amazing 33% referral rate (1 in 3 customers referred us to a friend!). A good mix of private Romanian, British and other nationalities, as well as international companies launching in Romania.
If you are planning to expand your business internationally you need a state-of-art localised and translated version of your website. A simple translation using automated tools can be harmful to your customer base and impact directly your revenue. Believe me, I’ve tried it myself and after weeks and weeks of manual edits, and desperate emails with these platforms’ customer service teams, I gave up. You need a clean localised version of your website that will be quickly remembered by the search engines.
We call “localisation” the content translation approach that uses terms that “make sense” both locally and culturally. Terms that are easily understood by a native reader. Even for Romanian, such a small niche language, the local variations can be quite significant.
